The varsity cheerleaders went to Florida in February to go to nationals. One of their members got hurt, so the had to perform without her. They placed 7th in the nation, but didn't care about winning because it was a great way to bond and grow as a team.
Who- Varsity Cheerleaders.
Varsity Cheerleaders Photo
I think this photo was well done. It has a simple background which makes the subjects stand out. There is balance in the picture and the subject are the cheerleaders. There is a medium depth of field because the players can be seen in the back.
Science Fair Photo Two
This is a solid photo because it shows the whole board with lots of detail. The lighting helps the picture be more clear. There is rule of thirds, and the subject is the project. It is exposed well and has a deep depth of field.
Peaceful ProtestersThis photo is good because it leads me to read the article. It is well lit and balanced. It also has rule of thirds and leading lines. The main subject is the man and his sign. Exposure is good, and not a deep depth of field.
Student Gymnast Photo One
The photo is good and filled with action. It is kind of bright so it could be a little darker. It has leading lines and the girl is the main subject. There is a deep depth of field.
Principal Search
This is a good picture because it has a lot of details. The lighting is good and everything is very sharp in the picture. The rule is balance and the woman is the subject. good exposure and shallow depth of field.
Entire Paper
My favorite picture is the one of the gymnast because it looks really cool and has lots of action. It has a good depth of field.
My least favorite ones are the pictures of students in Bulldog Speak out and the first science fair photo. They are boring and could be improved by having a more exciting subject.
I would have liked to shoot the gymnastics because it has a lot of action and it is interesting. Gymnastics is the most exciting topic in this magazine.
I would rate this issue three out of five stars. It has good photos and the stories are well written. Its just that the stories themselves are kind of not interesting topics.
What- National Competition.Where- Florida.When- February 10.Why- For competition.How- Cheerleading routine/competitive cheerleading.Quoted- Tanya Zint.Strongest quote/where- "One of our main flyers got injured...we had to redo the redo the routine." It was in the middle.Lead Sentence- Yes, it makes me want to read more.

Into to Newspaper
- I liked the front page from the fresno Bee because it had integrated photos into the title.
- I like the headline "chilling Out on the Slopes" because skiing is fun to me and it had a cool picture that went along with it.
- there were 6 stores on my cover.
- The title was always on top,one story was bigger than all the others and it had previews of other stories.
- The size of the title varied on each of them. Lots had their additional stories on the top before the cover story, but for the most part they were pretty similar.
Our paper seemed very organized and the first page was full of information.
The part that stood out is that some of the pictures on the inside are printed in color and some are still in black and white.
I saw about 5 stories that looked cool.
It could be improved by using higher quality photos, but that would mean using a higher quality camera.
Yes it does. everything is one pica apart and it has a name and date.
Not much. It looks very professional and good for a high school paper.

Website Review
I chose to look at the Do It Yourself Photography website. At first glance it was a little messy. I didn't immediately see a menu/pull down, so it was kind of confusing. The page was also full of lot boxes with different headlines and pictures. My first take on this website is that it will be messy and hard to follow. I as begin read the headlines i notice that there are many different topics. Some of which are things to do to make your camera better, or news in the art industry. As i spend more time looking at the homepage, there is a lie of headlines which I can scroll through. These are quizzes to find out what kind of photographer i am, or what kind of lens is my favorite and others. It looks like a great site to find little helpful tips and new ideas to try for photographers. I don't think that i will add this site to my bookmarks because i try to keep many bookmarks at a small number, but it is a very helpful site that i will probably consider using to help me in the future. I would recommend this website to someone in the future because as I have said it is a nice place to find tips and tricks. Some of them are very useful too, like "How to et lab quality film scans at home using wet mounts" This would be a really cool article to read because it could teach a really neat skill to learn.
I
I woUld rate it a 4 out of 5
While viewing this website I learned many things. The main of which was 19 new and useful tips to be better at taking portraits. Some of which were just simple questions that you ask yourself to find out why you are shooting the picture. Others were actual tips like, "don't make a photo, just let the photo happen." I will definitely se these tips in the future if we ever have a portrait shoot. I also learned that i am best fit to take pictures of nature and stopped things, according to one of the quizzes i took. i think this is important because i now know wha my strong assets are and that i should try to stick to taking those kinds of pictures. I will, in the future, try my best to take those kinds of pictures while I am using those tips that I learned as well.
