Website Review

I chose to look at the Do It Yourself Photography website. At first glance it was a little messy. I didn't immediately see a menu/pull down, so it was kind of confusing. The page was also full of lot boxes with different headlines and pictures. My first take on this website is that it will be messy and hard to follow. I as begin read the headlines i notice that there are many different topics. Some of which are things to do to make your camera better, or news in the art industry. As i spend more time looking at the homepage, there is a lie of headlines which I can scroll through. These are quizzes to find out what kind of photographer i am, or what kind of lens is my favorite and others. It looks like a great site to find little helpful tips and new ideas to try for photographers. I don't think that i will add this site to my bookmarks because i try to keep many bookmarks at a small number, but it is a very helpful site that i will probably consider using to help me in the future. I would recommend this website to someone in the future because as I have said it is a nice place to find tips and tricks. Some of them are very useful too, like "How to et lab quality film scans at home using wet mounts" This would be a really cool article to read because it could teach a really neat skill to learn.

While viewing this website I learned many things. The main of which was 19 new and useful tips to be better at taking portraits. Some of which were just simple questions that you ask yourself to find out why you are shooting the picture. Others were actual tips like, "don't make a photo, just let the photo happen." I will definitely se these tips in the future if we ever have a portrait shoot. I also learned that i am best fit to take pictures of nature and stopped things, according to one of the quizzes i took. i think this is important because i now know wha my strong assets are and that i should try to stick to taking those kinds of pictures. I will, in the future, try my best to take those kinds of pictures while I am using those tips that I learned as well.

Selfie vs self portrait

          A selfie is a picture taken of yourself by yourself. It can be taken with a smart phone or a normal camera. There are many variations of it. They can be with others or alone. The main thing is that the picture is taken by you of you. 

          Self portraits, again, can be taken with a smart phone or a normal camera. They traditionally need to show something a bout the person in the picture. They also must be taken by the same person in the photo. They shouldn't be with other people but can if that reveals something about the person. 

           There is a small difference in that selfies are more casual and self portraits are more formal and important. I prefer selfies because they are less casual and they require a lot less work in doing them. A self portrait is probably more valuable because there are less of them taken.

A phobia is a extreme fear of something.

Cynophobia fear of dogs

Cynophobia- I will take a picture of my dog standing u on his legs looking very ferocious. he will be standing in green grass and look very scary. 

Globophibia- I will take a picture of a group of balloons flying away into the sky. to make them seem not scary they will be soft colors like blue green and purple. There will be irony because they wont look scary but it is fear of balloons. 

Arsonphoba- I will take a picture of a small lego personor action figure buring in the fire to show that fire can be scary and can burn you. It will be taken at night so the fire stands out in the picture. 

Welcome Back

i chose this photo because it looks really cool how it has the whole hill covered in embers and you see a bigger fire up close.

I really enjoy this picture because i watched this race live n tv and it was pretty funny to watch as i saw the replay and they showed him smiling during the race.

I like this picture because it shows you a little bit of the city of Rio and also the illustrious fire works that were blown off during the opening ceremonies of the Summer Olympics.

I really liked this song and it was just very jamin. It probably stayed popular the longest of all songs this year. There were many jokes made about the song witch help contribute its popularity. Adele was also a big part of why it was so succesful. She had made a big comeback with this album and it was very good.

The best movie was by far Rogue One A Star Wars Story. It was a gret movie to see and i think is the best movie of 2016 even though it came out really late in the year. I think that it is the best just because it has the word star wars in it. But I dont care because it was a great movie any ways.

News Story- Donald Trump 

Trump being elected as the next president of the United States is easily the most important news story of the year. This news story will be ongoing for the next four or ore years and could be the longest lasting news piece from this past year. 

Person- Same as above for same reasons

Sports- Warriors blew a 3-1 lead

No explanations is necessary for this sports story nor is their any debate about it. They blew a 3-1 lead in the finals. They will be made fun of for the rest of eternity.
