2. Watch the winning portfolio critique (Dustin Snipes), and post the following:
a. good color and composition, good subject choices
b.- I agreed with the judges in that they were full of color and interesting, but some of them were still poorly taken... out of focus, bad lighting..etc.
3. Watch the contest recap video at the very bottom.
a. Briefly describe the process the judges went through in deciding the winner.- They looked at all the portfolios again and for the ones that they had decided were "awful" and "terrible" they eliminated on the spot until there were two left. They then chose between the two based on who had more of the good photos.
Individual Images
1. Describe one photo that you agree with the judges on. Explain why you and the judges do or do not like it.
I agree with the fact that there was nothing special about the first picture. I can see yes it may look cool, but there's nothing important or special about it. It's just a guy on a sled.
2. Describe one photo that you do NOT agree with the judges on. Explain why you think the judges are wrong.
I disagree with them saying the the escalator photo is good. If you look at it there isn't much visual appeal and it is very blurry and could have bee better if maybe it was shown in color and focused better.
