Africa and Abandon Theme Parks

Africa

1. This is a pretty cool story. I can relate to it because i've always wanted to go on a safari in Africa so it was pretty interesting to see some of the sights you might see there. The photos on the other hand were amazing. I didn't even think about the rules he used because they all just seemed naturally beautiful.
2.
3.  This is a picture of an elephant drinking water. I like it because of its simplicity. It creates an almost unreal scene, being that close.
4. This photo uses lines with the trunk leading to the head of the elephant. It also uses simplicity with almost nothing in the background.
5. He uses a Pentax 67ll with only 2 fixed lenses. These lenses are important because it means that he has to get closer to the subject for it to look good.
6. He wants to take the photos so that he can capture them in their natural habitat before they lose their homes.
7. He hopes that when people will see these that they will want to preserve their homes and stop what is causing them to lose it.
8. Nick Brandt on the problems causing animal to loe their homes in Africa- Where to begin? Every year, every month, the problems seem to grow ever greater, ever more complex and ever more intertwined with one another. Between population pressure, global warming, deforestation and poaching, the destruction is massive and escalating."

Abandon Theme Parks

1. I would want to go to Prypait, Ukraine the most not really because it looked cool r creepy but because of the history there. I would really go there to look at it for a little, but I'd be most interested in the rest of the town and seeing all the other abandon things. It just seems likes one of the few places in the world where things were just dropped and left for nature to take.
2.
3. Volcanos, abandon castles, old trains, old factories, old airports
4.
5. I would like to go shoot there because I've always liked trains. I also really like old things so it would be a good mix of both. I'd like to find out the history of the train and see if anything significant happened on it. I'd hope to get some cool pictures that could give an illusion that the train is moving.
6. To get there, first I would have to find where an abandon train would be. I would need a camera and a vehicle to get me there. The train might be on private property, so I might have to ask permission to go on that land.
