- I picked this image because Jordan was the greatest basketball play er ever and i am a fan of his.
- This was shot for LIFE Magazine and Nike used this silohuette for their basis of the Jumpman logo
- I learned that The photographer has sued Nike for using his picture to create the Jordan Logo.
5. Co Rentmeester, February 28, 1936, Amsterdam, Netherlands, Art Center College
- its a man on the moon, it catches everyone's eyes.
- Neil Armstrong took this picture while on the moon with Buzz Aldrin in 1969 Niel Armstrong took all of the pictures on the moon.
- Buzz was the second man on the moon, but all the pictures in the moon have him in them.
5. Niel Armstrong, 1930-2012, Ohio, Purdue, USC
- Thus caught my eye because i just saw an ad on Netfliix for a documentry about the Hindenburg.
- The German Blimp was landing in New Jersey coming from Frankfurt.
- The Blimp caught fire when its famable hydrogen tanks were ablaze. 36 people died in the crash.
5. 1905-1982, Minsk Belarus, no education
- This Picture Caught my eye because i've always wanted to go to Yosemite and i immedietly recognized it as Cathedral Rock.
- Before Ansel Adams took pictures of Yosemite Carelton Watkins did. He packed all his equipment on mules and headed into the valley.
- He Came back with 130 pictures and this made Congress want to protect this land setting up the National Parks system.
5. 1829-1916, New York, Robert Vance taught him
- This picture caught my eye because Abe Lincoln is one of my favorite presidents and historical figures.
- This picture was taken by Mathew Brady, a Broadway photographer. This was taken before he ran for president.
- He was on his way to give a speech that had to be perfect and he needed a portrait of himself. Brady would go on to document a lot of the Civil war.
